Supply Chain Analyst Senior

Position Highlights:

Job Summary:

The purpose of this job is to provide key data and analytical support to the Supply Chain (Purchasing Materials Management and Logistical Support Services), Operations, and Clinical leaders, both in extraction and creation.  This job supports end-users of the procurement and inventory systems as to their needs for system access and information and technical functionality support, education and testing.  This position acts as subject matter experts in regards to Lawson ERP and any ancillary systems used within Supply Chain, act as the functional owner of the Supply Chain ERP database.  The analysts have a mixture of project and routine tasks that need to be completely timely and accurately.  This job functions under the direction of the Director, Supply Chain Systems.

What you will do:

  • Manage item master data integrity, ensure any additions or changes are within parameters outlined in working processes
  • Maintain pricing and item updates as advised by Buyers and Contract Administrators
  • Perform data cleansing projects and database integrity and performance
  • Seek and implement automated solutions to load large datasets
  • Maintain inventory location updates as advised by Materials Management
  • Support Supply Chain conversions as lead by Contract Administrators, Buyers or Materials Management
  • Support end-user system operations issues with web requisitions, various vendor web applications, and all other Supply Chain related systems.
  • Support Hand-Held scanner users with operational issues
  • Administer user additions for various vendor web applications
  •  Troubleshoot problems reported by any users of the purchasing or materials systems
  • Create system documentation
  • Act as functional liaison with HIT for technical issues
  • Resolve EDI/Fax or other system issues, reporting status to Purchasing staff in timely manner
  •  Performs system testing for new functionality or upgrades
  • Administer new user education on new functions or systems
  • Administer user education on new functionality
  • Create and maintain documentation of test scripts and results
  • Create and maintain updated user documentation
  • Prepare scheduled and on demand repots for Supply Chain, operational and clinical departments for use in identifying KPI, cost savings opportunities, justifying budge variances, product standardization, inventory valuations and par recommendations
  • Present reports in a standardized, summarized fashion, in a clear easy to use format
  • Assist report recipients with interpretation of data and analytics
  • Maintain a library of report specifications and output
  • Manage and the Supply Chain Dashboard and present ideas for new reports
  • Manage the recall management system (RASMAS) to investigate all Supply Chain related recalls
  • Issue notifications of applicable recalls to appropriate end users and Supply Chain personnel
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure appropriate follow up actions are taken
  • Provide buyers necessary documentation for return of affected recalled product
  • Produce regular and as needed reports on the results of the recall management system
  • Retain records for minimum of five years
  • Understand healthcare supply chain from start to finish.  Partner with Supply Chain personnel to positively impact operations
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and reports to facilitate and support change
  • Educate end users on the process and recommendation for improvement
  • Facilitate root cause analyses to pinpoint problems in a systematic way
  • Manage the month end close for Lawson PO, IC, CM, WH modules
  • Troubleshoot any issues preventing close
  • Conduct physical inventions in a collaborative effort with Materials Management
  • Facilitate root cause analyses to pinpoint problems in a systematic way

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Certification: N/A
  • Experience:  7 years of Healthcare Supply Chain experience 
  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Workday, intermediate skill with Access/Oracle (Querying and Report Writing) and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Cleansing and Formatting)
