Group 1001 is seeking a highly experienced and motivated VP, HR Business Partner to lead our HR Business Partnership team. As a Strategic HR Business Partner leader, you will lead a team of experienced HR professionals responsible for the strategic development and execution of talent related priorities aligned with key business objectives. This includes a focus on developing, and retaining talent in alignment with strategic business objectives, delivering an exceptional HR experience to our employees, and shaping our culture. In this role, you will participate as a senior member of Group 1001’s Human Resources leadership team. This role will oversee and manage HR business partners, employee relations, and employment compliance functions.
This role will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Job Duties:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement HR strategies and programs within their organization that drive the company’s overall business objectives
- Champion the needs of data and analytics for Senior Organization Leaders, people managers and HR Business Partners within our HR System, Workday, to provide the necessary data to drive a progressive culture using data to identify opportunities, support change, and measure results
- Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, programs, and processes that support the company’s growth and success and supports the unique needs of the organizational leader's people challenge and identify opportunities
- Partner with business leaders to understand their headcount and talent needs and partner with Talent Acquisition to develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent
- Provide strategic and day to day guidance to managers and employees on HR related matters such as talent acquisition, performance management, rewards and recognition, employee engagement and relations to ensure consistency in people management and compliance
- Develop and implement HR Business Partner strategies that synchronize with the company’s core values and strategic functions
- Build strong partnership with senior leaders and employees to effectively champion and implement HR programs and processes
- Provide leadership coaching and counsel to senior leaders, individually and with respective team members
- Provide HR subject matter expertise on business operating model, organizational design, and workforce planning related to business growth
- Maintain a pulse on the employee experience and monitor areas of culture, compensation, employee well-being, and identify and/or collaborate with functional HR teams (compensation, Talent management) to continuously enhance programs to ensure the company remains competitive
- Contribute to a human capital strategy and execute multiple initiatives to drive business success, with a focus on retaining and developing talent and leadership, evolving and amplifying company culture, enabling manager effectiveness, and succession planning initiatives
- Continue to define and mature the role of the HR Business Partner as a strategic member of the business organizations in which they are aligned and establish ongoing communication with the Senior Organizational Leaders to continue to drive the HR Partnership model
- Provide continuous training, coaching and support to the HR Business Partners to create a best-in-class team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in strategic HR leadership role
- 5+ years of management leading a team of HR professionals
- Proven experience working with an HRIS system, preferably Workday, to surface meaningful data and analytics to leaders and managers
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies that drive business results
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build strong relationships with all levels of management and employees
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices
