What you will do


Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager who can demonstrate exceptional leadership to provide directions and inspire a team of Analysts, Specialists and SMEs. The role will involve transition of processes from offshore locations and hence the incumbent will lead the team through the transition phase and successfully steer the team to self-sufficiency. You will also drive high performance culture, improve operational performance against SLAs/KPIs & to support regional and global projects. Proactively identify process gaps and mitigations are in place, implement continuous improvement and drive operational efficiency. You are a data driven leader by analyzing trends and forecast to deliver insights and breakthrough in performance, team capacity and employee experience.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record of demonstrating leadership in managing HR Operations, preferable in a Shared Services model.
  • Has managed and led employees or teams - managed deadlines, deliverables, driven accountability and held development discussions.
  • Good understanding of Hire-To-Retire processes such as Onboarding, Personal & Org data changes, Employee Off-cycle events, reference letters, invoices and termination processes. 
  • Exceptional leader, a self-starter, and a problem solver. Can identify process gaps, perform root cause analysis, and implement mitigations.
  • Well versed with data protection principles, knows how to process confidential and sensitive employee information.
  • Is good at multiple priorities and acting with an appropriate sense of urgency to meet the changing business needs.
  • In-dept knowledge of how processes, data and system integrate across processes in HR Operations and leverage the knowledge to pro-actively monitor process & implement process controls to manage risks.
  • Good understanding of HR ServiceNow (should be able to conceptually design requirements for the team) and Workday preferred.
  • Be able to perform FTE demand analysis on processes using globally standard methodology.

  • Ability to work with global distributed teams and flexible in shifts to support Americas / EMEA regions.
  • Prior experience handling projects for the team or at an enterprise level would be good.
  • Experience working in a global or multinational company with strong stakeholder management skills. 
  • Prior experience leading multiple teams along with other functional areas such as Total Rewards, Analytics, TA and other areas of HR Shared Services is an added advantage.
