What you will be doing
We are transforming to become a data-led regulator, that identifies and runs towards future problems, and embraces future opportunities. Our people function is at the heart of that transformation and our HR Business Partners are critical to enabling our success.
We will look to you to provide expert advice and guidance to senior leaders across the FCA. You will work directly with members of our Executive Committee, acting as trusted advisers, consulting with and advising them on the development of people strategies that will deliver our vision and business plan. You will work closely with their leadership teams to develop and execute those strategies, including talent management, organisational effectiveness, strategic workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, and employee retention & engagement. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in our HR Centres of Expertise and your business areas, bringing business insight and advocating a client-centred approach to colleagues across HR and the rest of FCA Operations to develop solutions that help to deliver outcomes for the FCA, our colleagues, consumers, market participants and the economy. You will also contribute to the broader FCA Leadership through a number of cross-functional programs and initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to quickly grasp your business area, understand their priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. You will work with colleagues to develop insightful, evidence based recommendations to improve performance, retention and drive the overall employee experience. You will have the curiosity to see patterns, the tenacity to diagnose issues, the openness to think creatively and excellent intervention skills in order to use these insights to deliver business outcomes in both the short and long term.
What you will get from the role
Our competitive flexible benefits scheme gives you the opportunity to create a personalised benefits package, tailored to suit your lifecycle. You can use this allowance to purchase additional benefits such as dental or cycle to work or you have the option top up your base salary by taking this as cash.
