Your New Role…

Serves as day-to-day business affairs executive on behalf of Warner Bros. TV production entities.  Negotiates actors, writer, producer, director, and a variety of licensee deals, all in connection with the production of various television series.  Also, interacts with various internal executives, producers, agents, lawyers and/or managers.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Negotiates actor, writer, producer, director, and licensee deals, as well as development deals of all types with agents, entertainment attorneys, and outlet/buyer counterparts.  
  • Serves as day-to-day business affairs executive on behalf of various Warner Bros. production entities during the development and production process, with such television series ranging across a variety of licensee platforms.
  • Prepares and distributes deal memos, agreements, amendments and short form contracts, as well as maintain department policy documents and updating actor templates.
  • Provides regular status updates with respect to deals, both to internal groups as well as talent/producers.  
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience…

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years entertainment experience as a manager/attorney, preferably at a studio.
  • Television Business Affairs experience strongly preferred.
  • Law firm experience a plus

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • JD required

Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Microsoft Word required.
  • Knowledge of report and letter format.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to communicate on all levels in a collaborative environment.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $109,900.00 - $204,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
