Job Summary:

As the Product Center of Excellence Lead within the Procurement Transformation Office, you play a key role in creating, implementing and overseeing the strategic vision and operational excellence of the Product CoE. You will be responsible for creating and implementing best practices, methodologies, standards for product development and sustaining operations.  

The ideal candidate has a background in procurement and product management, a continuous improvement mindset with an emphasis on progress over perfection and a proven track record of delivering exceptional products through the successful completion of complex initiatives and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the CoE’s purpose, goals, governance model and long-term vision and align activities with business objectives.
  • Establish and promote best practices, methodologies and frameworks to drive efficiency and excellence in product development and management.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, transparency and knowledge sharing.          
  • Work with product owners to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs and business impact.
  • Create and maintain the GSP strategic technology roadmap to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Establish clear metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure product effectiveness; drive and influence system improvements.
  • Oversee and manage key product initiatives and projects to ensure successful strategy and execution and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and business leadership. 
  • Collaborate and strategically communicate serving as the key liaison with cross-functional teams across IT, Finance, GSP and suppliers to drive the development and launch of innovative products.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies and translate this technical thought leadership into pragmatic plans and investments across system and process.
  • Facilitate and lead sprint planning sessions, reviews and standups.

Experience, Skills and Mindset:

  • 7-10 years of experience as a product manager, procurement administrator or business analyst and 5 years in indirect procurement with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • End to end in depth knowledge of Source to Pay lifecycle.
  • Prior domain experience implementing Source to Pay SaaS solutions (e.g., SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa). Knowledge of ServiceNow and Workday Scout are preferred but not required.             
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools (JIRA, Confluence or similar platforms).
  • Basic understanding of the technical aspects of product development and how they impact product management and successful track record converting and translating technical know-how to business decisions.
  • Proficiency to evaluate the financial impact of product development and improvements, understand the financial implications of product decisions and manage budgets for product initiatives.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans, analyze complex problems and make data-driven decisions that provide value to our customers and support organizational goals.

 Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or Information Technology discipline. Master's degree preferred.

U.S. Salary Range:

$120,000.00 - $165,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
