What you will do

Reporting to the Associate Director of Field Support, the Regional Business Administration Manager leads a team and manages a variety of field office administrative functions to include accounts payable, payroll, prevailing wage compliance, and certified payroll reporting. Reviews reports on historical and future trends in performance as required to lead and maintain efficient day-to-day business support functions of district offices across a region. Responsibilities also include ensuring the district offices are compliant and adhere to corporate policies and procedures.

How you will do it

  • Directs administrative teams that work within our Fire Domain back-office functions to support the local districts across the Region, as well as provide support as required to the corporate centralized shared service centers.
  • Manages the implementation of corporate administrative policies and procedures across all district offices within the Region, including accounts payable, payroll and other business administrative support functions.
  • Drives efficient administrative process capabilities by identifying process improvements to reduce cost and improve cash flow.
  • Partners collaboratively with Region and Market leaders and colleagues across the business to enable enterprise success around critical administrative and operations processes and handoffs.
  • Reviews workflows, balances staffing needs and reassigns responsibilities as necessary to improve internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve goals and metrics to attain best-in-class results across end-to-end processes.
  • Ensure team member adherence to standardized processes, procedures, policies and business systems.
  • Interview, onboard and train new team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we look for

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business administration, accounting or finance.
  • 5-10 years’ experience as an office manager or equivalent, strong administrative background.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and all levels of management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and maintain high ethical standards across entire team.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and tasks and respond to district management needs and challenges.

Preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience working in the construction industry.
  • 3-5 years' experience with Federal DBA and SCA prevailing wage and/or state or local municipalities.
