Business Architect Executive - Claims

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office 3 days per week). Candidates will live within 50 miles of our Atlanta, GA Pulse Point location.


The Business Architect Executive – Claims drives and completes the Business Architecture portion of business blueprints, including establishing guiding principles, defining capabilities, performing functional analysis/definition, analyzing and documenting the value chain, and assessing organizational impacts.


How you will make an impact: 

  • Contributes to providing linkage to other Enterprise Architecture groups and models, and coordinates and aligns activities to achieve the future state capabilities with Business Relationship Management (BRM).

  • Owns creation of Business context diagrams (BCD) for programs and projects that present a graphical depiction of relationships among business stakeholders involved in the solution.

  • Influences direction of Enterprise portfolio planning and its impact to Business Architecture constructs.

  • Defines a common process for how projects are assessed against business architecture artifacts and blueprints; incorporate into overall architecture governance process.

  • Communicates and builds consensus equally effectively with all constituents, including business executives, technologists, end users, and operations.


Minimum Requirements:

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis and strategic planning; IT operations, planning, or leadership; or strategic and technical architecture with 7 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Experience in healthcare industry with claims knowledge strongly preferred. 

  • Enterprise Architecture related Certification strongly preferred.

  • Experience with related technology, data, services, functions, applications, etc. strongly preferred.

  • Experience in transformational initiatives preferred.
