As a Project Manager you will:
- Be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale and specialist projects.
- Deliver projects to a high standard, taking a proactive and innovative approach to project management.
- Develop high-quality, integrated schedules in Primavera P6 ensuring stakeholders are updated.
- Support team in compliance with NEC3 contractual requirements and reporting to ensure Dalcour Maclaren are a competent contractor.
- Ensure all required milestones are reflected.
- Track progress against the project schedule including forecasting of potential problem areas and proposing mitigation measures to support decision making
- Provide planning and scheduling expertise to ensure projects adhere to the company business plan goals and are commercially viable at all times
- Advise and coordinate the client and DM teams to develop the project brief, project programme and desired outcomes
- Be responsible for project communication and information management
- Oversee project related administrative processes and stakeholder support to quality check and ensure accuracy
- Motivate, manage and inspire project teams using both technical knowledge and leadership skills
- Working with your team, initiate and develop commercial working relationships with clients
- Put forward innovative ideas and identify networking opportunities to further Dalcour Maclaren’s knowledge and understanding within the Project Management services field.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements and policies; prepare up to date compliance documents for our clients
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong Primavera P6 experience
- Have proven experience of development and implementation of Project Programming best practice, standards and alignment with NEC 3 contract processes.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in leading projects/ Project Programming
- Demonstrable experience in development, integration, and analysis of project plans
- Knowledge or experience of using best practice planning processes and tools
- Knowledge and understanding of confidence modelling processes and techniques
- Be a strong leader with previous team management experience
- Be an excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders
- Have great IT skills & be confident with Microsoft products
- Have good numeracy skills and financial understanding
- Be highly organised with great attention to detail
- Be a keen problem solver
