As a Design Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for lead a DRAM Design team designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. What’s Encouraged Daily:

  • Lead a design team to contribute to the development of new DRAM product, DRAM logic IPs, design flows and methodologies.
  • Lead the team to develop processes and methodologies to drive consistency across the Design organization.
  • Drive the daily work and long-term strategy to achieve design methodology teams’ goals.
  • Lead the team to evaluate and identify the best-known practices and communicate to all DRAM teams.
  • Be responsible for providing regular performance feedback to team members, establish goals and development plans and provide opportunities to expand skills and promote career growth.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop current and future Micron leaders/individual contributors.
  • Contributing to cross-group communication to work towards standardization and group success.
  • Lead the team and drive innovation into the future Memory generations within a dynamic work environment.

How To Qualify:

  • BS with 7+ years’ experience or MS with 5+ years’ experience
  • +3 years’ experience of the team leader or manager role that manages a team with >5 people.
  • Proven knowledge/experience of CMOS Circuit Design and Device Physics
  • Design digital or analog circuits using CMOS logic gates and transistors.
  • Using Spice and Verilog, simulate to verify proper circuit operation. Analyze circuits for power consumption, speed performance, and reliability.
  • Proven knowledge/experience of logic design and verification techniques

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of ASIC design flow including RTL design, verification, logic synthesis and timing analysis.
  • Experience in ASIC timing constraints generation and timing closure using STA tools (Primetime) and the associated design flow.
  • Experience in RTL development for logic or mixed-signal circuits.

  • Strong experience with memory (NAND, DRAM, NOR, SRAM, etc.) design.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to efficiently synthesize and convey sophisticated technical concepts to other partners and leadership.
  • Familiarity with schematic entry and simulation using Finesim or Hspice
  • Consistent track record of innovation and problem-solving in high-performance memory development
  • A self-motivated, hard-working team player who enjoys working with diverse abilities and backgrounds
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Having an innovative approach that is open to improving upon any of our processes or products.
