What you need to know about the role-
You will provide thought leadership and support end-to-end Annual Performance Cycle at PayPal.
You will help support the Performance Management team by :

- Supporting Annual Performance Cycle
- Leveraging AI tools and partners to generate insights that can be actioned to drive performance management rigor and accountability.
- Supporting stakeholder needs with education and resources.

As our CEO, Alex Chris mentioned, 2024 is the year of transition at PayPal; and the Performance Management team is equipping the Talent roadmap at this crucial juncture, by building programs at scale, which improves Org Health and enables Talent Development.

  • There will be opportunities to innovate and capitalize on HR analytics and deliver insights which will help us build next-gen solutions for our stakeholders (like PBPs & people leaders).
  • As we continue to build, tweak our Performance Management programs, the incumbent will have opportunity to contribute to our global programs, which will enable exposure & learning opportunities.  

Your day to day -

  • Provide ongoing support to Performance Management Core team, while innovating and developing new pre-emptive guidance/resources/processes 

  • Develop go to market materials for performance management and report to support the organization's strategic and tactical business needs.  

  • Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to performance management, and operations optimization, leveraging data-driven approaches to address specific business challenges or opportunities.  

  • Create data and insight visualizations to effectively communicate complex information into simple and client ready assets.  

  •  Identify gaps and recommend ways to improve performance management overall experience and effectiveness.  

  • Support and conduct employee and manager Performance Management trainings, office hours and informative activities.  

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry Performance Management benchmarks and measures.  

  •  Support multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.  

What do you need to bring 

  • Experience executing and supporting Annual Performance cycle activities and processes end-to-end in a large-scale global organization.  

  • Excellent project management and change communications experience. 

  • Experience in coaching, training, and developing employees in a high-performance culture. 

  • Experience leading and supporting broad scale change initiatives that have global impact and complex expectations.  

  • Demonstrating strong story telling skills with the ability to get into the weeds and synthesize information and data in a concise “client ready” deliverable.   

  • Strong relationship building skills and demonstrated track record of achieving success through partnering with others, informal networks/channels and working across teams.  

  • Self-directed and motivated, demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and operate with speed.   

  •  Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing organization and operate comfortably with ambiguity and complexity.  

  • Experience in creative problem solving, change management, and eliminating barriers at various organizational levels.  

  •  Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Office, PowerPoint and Excel.  

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills   

  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus 

  • 5+ years’ experience Performance Management function.  

  • MBA from Tier 1 B-school strongly preferred.
