Overview: As a Senior Director Lean Sensei, you will be responsible for leading and driving Lean transformation initiatives within our organization. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Lean methodologies, guiding teams to identify and eliminate waste, improve processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and inspire change at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Lean strategies and initiatives across all departments and functions.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Lean practitioners and project teams, ensuring alignment with Lean principles and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define Lean objectives, establish performance metrics, and monitor progress towards organizational goals.
  • Conduct Lean assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans to drive operational excellence.
  • Facilitate Lean training sessions and workshops for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication to streamline processes, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Serve as a change agent, promoting Lean principles and practices, and overcoming resistance to change through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Lean management, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Lean management, process improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • Proven track record of leading successful Lean transformations in large organizations, driving significant improvements in quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, develop data-driven solutions, and measure the impact of Lean initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% both domestic and international.
