As a Business Systems Analyst supporting the Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term supply chain strategies and networks that enhance operational efficiency and system effectiveness. You will play a key role in optimizing supply chain processes through advanced systems analysis and technology solutions, ensuring seamless integration and performance across various operational areas at our Fort Worth Main Facility at FORT WORTH, TEXAS (US).

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to identify and resolve business issues, automate processes, and address systemic needs.

  • Advise on systems analysis, configuration, administration, and revise existing systems to correct deficiencies and maintain effective processes.

  • Configure systems to meet requirements and operational needs; test system functionality to ensure data integrity and effective processes.

  • Serve as the technical contact for work groups or project teams, providing timely problem resolution and minimizing productivity impact.

  • Document system updates, modifications, configurations, and maintenance activities.

  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights for effective business decision-making and supply chain performance.

  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau, and ETL workflows using Alteryx.

  • Train team members on business and technical processes.

  • Liaise with Global Supply Chain teams to gather requirements and address data-related queries.

  • Work independently under deadlines and high workloads to complete tasks efficiently.

  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness by developing and implementing data quality controls.

What You’ll Bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +8 yrs; Assoc.+4 yrs)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in distribution management, process optimization, or a related field.

  • Ability to understand business requirements, KPIs and convert into analytical hypothesis in a structured and logical manner along with solution identification.

  • Solid understanding of supply Chain network, planning, forecasting, inventory management, logistics, warehouse.
