    Primary Responsibilities

    • Management Responsibilities: Manages (directly or indirectly), coaches and mentors a team of employees and consultants who provide technical development and functional/ production support. Act as a point of escalation and can assist with troubleshooting and debugging various applications: Clearly identify root cause of production level architecture/application issues and make practical suggestions with technical reasoning.

    • Strategic Initiatives: Develop technology strategy through defining scope of projects, business requirements gathering, overseeing design and user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting user system adoption.  Partner with key business stakeholders to set the priority of enhancements and project roadmap initiatives to assess current and future target operating model requirements.

    • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as SME on Apollo’s internal and external systems (PeopleSoft / Concur) and identify best practices for optimizing system use both internally and externally.

    • Perform in the role of a solutions architect and recommend appropriate solutions based on best practices.

    • Vendor Management: Manage vendors and coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, and fixes.  Ensures expected deliverables and services are being met and tracks overall vendor spend to budget.

    • Project Management: Identify risks, plan for unanticipated outcomes, and form appropriate contingency plans. Communicate project status, risk management, and escalate issues that the team cannot resolve.

    • Governance: Drive change and implement new services and solutions, building governance & ownership around the new initiatives/processes. Ensure a robust governance framework is used to deliver programs/projects on time and within budget.

    • Change Management: Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with strategic solutions. Identifies and recommends proactive prevention solutions and opportunities for continual improvements.

    • Relationship Management and Teamwork: Establish and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating a thorough understanding of business process and priorities for main stakeholders and enabling open communication channels with business partners. Encourage teamwork and cross department collaboration with a willingness to jump in and provide expertise or assistance.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • 20 years of Technology expertise leading, delivering, and supporting finance application solutions of varied complexities

    • 10+ years of PeopleSoft/major ERP functional experience (Workday Financials, PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, etc.), and integration touchpoints with various reporting tools.

    • Minimum of 10+ years of supervisory management experience mentoring/coaching/developing direct reports.

    • Minimum of 10+​ years industry full cycle experience of SDLC, and PMLC methodologies and approaches, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications.

    • Working accounting knowledge of how transactions post to the general ledger and ability to do accounting impact analysis.

    • Experience with OneStream, Kyriba, and Workday applications is a plus.

    • Knowledge of allocation methodologies is a plus.

    • Independent business analysis skills.

    • Experience managing a cross functional, Global team in a matrixed environment.

    • Understanding of integration tools such as ETLs and APIs

    • Experience leading complex projects including multiple parties both internal and external.

    • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.

    • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

    • Adept at listening and soliciting feedback from users and stakeholders.
