Description -

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for providing valuable insights and solutions for specific functions or business units. The role actively drives the forecasting process, aligning with overall business objectives and supporting policy and process enhancement. The role may act as a team or project leader, providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and team decision making.

Responsibilities
Ownership of dedicated countries logistics PnL
Performing month end closure activities, i.e complex accrual calculation, journal entries, IC billing etc.
Performing cost variance root-cause analysis, trend analytics and share business narratives during MEC
Perform balance sheet reconciliations, with utmost compliance and outline highlights/risks.
Data mining, issue resolutions and building story behind the numbers.
Keep close engagement with market analysts, Log ops, procurement, PMO, TRAX & FCM teams etc,
Providing invoicing/accrual process definitions and work towards necessary system setups.
Providing complex financial analysis for logistics costs to support and influence decision making.  
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and policy development.
SQL data base management, archive and retrieve big data using SQL/Hyperion queries
Support International freight accounting/reporting, accounting FDE and GCA

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
