Job Summary

As Sr. Analyst of Forecasting on the Performance Insights team, you will be responsible for working closely with our cross-functional partners to deliver the best-in-class subscriber forecasts and annual budgets. Through analyzing historical performance and key business drivers, the Sr. Analyst will help forecast key business performance metrics like subscriber counts, connects/disconnects and net adds at a product and channel level. Creates models and reporting/analysis to evaluate the company’s subscriber performance and forecast accuracy. Works with HQ and Division forecasting teams to analyze results and make improvements to the forecasting process. We are looking for a team-oriented person with solid analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in analysis and forecasting as well as strong working knowledge of Excel and Essbase. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience or knowledge in subject matter.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Provides weekly, monthly and annual reports and forecasts across key business lines. Provides special reports and analyses to support the business as necessary.
  • Engages cross-functionally to ensure key forecasting assumptions are consistent across all lines of business and sales channels as appropriate. Coordinates the flow of information and communication between Sales, Sales Support and Traffic departments
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Identifies issues, analyzes available data and information and recommends changes to management.
  • Creates and maintains multiple operational reporting tools.
  • Provides analytical support of actual results against budget and feasibility of proposed business strategies.
  • Consolidates data reports and delivers to help drive data-based strategic decision making.
  • Provides analysis prior to and following any recommended changes.
  • May create and maintain compliance reports that identify discrepancies within the Company's billing systems.
  • May conduct regular HRIS maintenance and audits to ensure the quality of data integrity.
  • Ensures accuracy of data through partnerships with team members. Provides day-to-day validation and spot checks.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience forecasting key business performance metrics
  • Proficiency with Excel and Essbase
  • Ability to create models and reporting/analysis to evaluate subscriber performance
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally across HQ and division teams to drive conversations around forecasts and budgets

Compensation

This job can be performed in Colorado with a Pay Range of $68,454.11 - $112,949.27

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Bachelor's Degree (Required)
