As a Storage Business Unit (SBU) Manager of Market Intelligence at Micron Technology, Inc., you will support a variety of activities which may include some or all of the following: competitor benchmarking, cost & capacity analysis, analyzing market conditions for both NAND supply and demand, market model creation and maintenance, collecting and internalizing market research from external market resource providers, and managing internal market research requests.

In addition, you are required to provide competitor metric comparisons, prepare and present competitor data to management, and field questions from executives regarding competitors!

Responsibilities also include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain SBU (NAND) demand market model and application specific models, both tops down and bottoms up approach

  • Lead SBU market intelligence and market research to corporate and BU, including supply/demand, market share, seasonality, etc…

  • Analyze equity research reports, key analyst reports (TrendForce, IDC, IHS) and other market reports to assess and evaluate the competitor landscape and identify emerging trends/opportunities

  • Highlight and review key changes in the demand forecast and supporting assumptions

  • Engage with other business units on cross Business Unit (BU) application forecasts

  • Provide business analytics through programming/modeling to optimize business decisions and drive critical initiatives

  • Responsible for TAM data correctness and loading into central database

  • Conduct data analysis to support Customer Support Plan (CSP) development, marketing and sales forecast reconciliation (MSR)

  • Collaborate with Corporate Strategy team to drive corporate strategies and perform ad-hoc analysis for executives

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of market intelligence experience or similar role.

  • Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with Power BI is desirable, but not required.

  • Familiar with handling complex datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.

  • Experienced in developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.

  • Able to effectively multitask.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$108,000.00 - $234,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
