Legal Corporate Receptionist -  Melbourne Office

The role

The Melbourne Operations team are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join the team on a full-time basis. As a member of this collaborative team, you will operate as the face of our firm within Reception and play a critical role in the delivery of internal and external client services. Experience in guest relations or a similar position is essential to the success of this role.

You will demonstrate excellence in client service, ensuring seamless coordination of internal and external client events as well as ensuring recognised service level standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities will include:

  • EMS system experience is preferrable or experience using a similar system. Administering bookings for internal services including rooms, catering and facilities equipment.
  • Warmly and professionally greet all visitors, ensuring they feel welcomed and looked after
  • Switchboard management, answering internal and external phone calls and ensuring their call is directed to the most appropriate person
  • Taking ownership of the presentation of the reception are

Skills & Experience


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hospitality environment (boardroom experience highly desirable)
  • Administering bookings for internal services including rooms, catering and facilities equipment. EMS system is preferrable or experience using a similar system
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or similar front of house role is essential
  • Enjoy working with people and pride yourself in excellent customer service skills
  • Impeccable grooming standards and a professional phone manner
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible in working hours when required
