Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and technically adept Presales Engineer to join our Presales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining presales materials and demos, training the regional teams and influencing the product roadmap. Ensuring the regional presales are able to support the sales process by providing deep technical knowledge, conducting product demonstrations, and acting as a trusted advisor to our customers. Your expertise in automation systems and manufacturing solutions will play a key role in showcasing the value of our APF products, addressing client needs, and driving successful adoption.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer needs, conduct requirements analysis, and design solutions that meet business objectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their automation goals.
Product Demonstrations and Proof-of-Concepts:
Standardize segment specific product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (PoC) activities, showcasing APF product capabilities to address specific client challenges.
Customize demonstrations to match segment and client requirements and highlight the unique benefits of APF solutions to meet business needs.
Technical Consultation:
Provide in-depth training materials on APF product features, functionality, and integration capabilities.
Collaborate with clients to ensure a clear understanding of APF’s automation and manufacturing optimization potential.
Solution Development and Customization:
Work closely with product development and engineering teams to design tailored automation solutions that address client requirements.
Develop technical proposals and solution configurations to align APF products with customer-specific needs.
Feedback and Product Improvement:
Gather feedback from regional APF presales to ensure continuous product improvements and future development.
Act as the voice of the customer, communicating needs and challenges to the APF product development team.
Business Process:
Ensure business process is up to date and the worldwide team has up to date materials.
Centralize documentation throughout the presales process, from opportunity identification through customer commitment.
Qualifications include
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Experience:
• 5+ years in a technical presales, solutions engineering, or consulting role within the automation or semiconductor manufacturing industry.
Technical Proficiency:
• Strong understanding of factory automation and semiconductor production processes.
• Familiarity with APF solutions or similar automation frameworks
Communication Skills:
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
• Ability to assess complex client requirements, design tailored solutions and address technical challenges effectively.

$128,000.00 - $176,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
