Program Overview

McKesson’s Intern program is 10-12 weeks long, and is designed to provide:

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in assisting with the design, construction, and maintenance of our data pipelines. You will ensure data quality and integrity, and work on Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to support our data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and construction of robust data pipelines.
• Maintain and monitor data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and testing.
• Work on ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Support the implementation of data warehousing solutions like Snowflake.
• Utilize tools like Matillion and Databricks for ETL and data processing tasks.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating databases.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake.
• Understanding of ETL tools and processes, particularly Matillion and Databricks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with other programming languages or data processing tools would be an asset

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
