Job Summary

This is a full-time, hybrid Summer 2025 Digital Services internship with our Data Science team. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled intern to join our applied AI and Machine Learning team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, apply advanced analytical methods, and contribute to solving complex business and clinical challenges. Essential Functions

• Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning: Collaborate with the team to develop and deploy machine learning models that predict outcomes, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for improving patient care and business functions.
• Participate in the entire model development lifecycle, including data preprocessing, feature selection, algorithm choice, model validation, and performance optimization.
• Advanced Data Exploration and Analysis: Analyze complex healthcare or business data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that support more informed decision-making.
• AI Exploration: Explore innovative AI applications, assess their feasibility and ethical implications, and contribute to the implementation of suitable solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pursuing a technical degree in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
• Must be either Junior standing or Master’s level student
• Experience with Python, SQL, and machine learning or data science concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Experience with prompt engineering
