Job Description

As a Project Engineer you will work on Mechanical engineering assignments like Product development, Application Engineering or Productivity improvement projects. You will work on variety of Rockwell Automation Products using CAD platform Creo 7.0.

You will repot to Team Lead of the function and will work from our Pune/Noida Office.

Your Responsibilities:

  • The Project Engineer will work on Mechanical designs and drawings for Orders/Product Development/Standardisation work varying in complexity related to the Electromechanical Products.
  • Deliver and accomplish the assigned work on time with good quality, cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Support Team Leader / Lead Engineer on technical issues.
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering activities including Salse order release, Part setups, and NC drawing creations.
  • Participate in training opportunities to develop technical and soft skills.
  • Independently work with Global customers on projects for Design reviews, Progress Updates Or Improvements
  • Participate in Brainstorming sessions and propose solutions for complex technical problems.
  • Participate in Organisation level programs like innovation Programs, Lean Six Sigma and CI activities.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical/Production/Automobiles Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in Industrial Automation-based Mechanical Design
  • 3+ years of experience with CREO, ACAD, and SAP/PLM.
  • Experience with common manufacturing processes applicable for Sheetmetal, plastic and knowledge of PPAP
  • GD&T/ASME Y14.5, tolerance stack-up, design verification and analysis methods, Welding process and DFMEA
  • Experience with product sealing, Ingress protection and other electromechanical regulatory testing standards like IEC/NEMA.
  • Experience working with Global customer.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Advance Creo feature experience like Creo Cabling, Simulation, Creo customization
  • Knowledge of CAE Fundamentals and experience of working on Ansy
