As a Senior Global Supply Chain Workforce Development Specialist at Micron, you will provide support to your assigned sites regarding training and development programs, processes, systems, compliance, and strategy. As a part of the Workforce Development team, you may also facilitate site orientation, maintain training records, materials, and forms, teach classes and workshops as needed, and assist in the presentation of material for different initiatives. You can expect to process training requests, conduct needs analyses, and resolve alignment with the business needs of the sites. In this role, you will work with project teams, stakeholders, and leaders to identify deliverables, establish timelines and the allocation of resources, and conduct evaluation measures to determine effectiveness.
Provide Training, Development, and Education Solutions:
· Work with stakeholder groups to Identify training opportunities, and potential solutions
· Perform needs analysis on requests or business opportunities
· Identify the need and Design training solutions to meet needs
· Develop solutions to meet design requirements
· Provide instruction, facilitation, or presentations
· Implement solutions
· Evaluate solution effectiveness and make appropriate adjustments
Develop, Govern, and Administer Processes and Systems
· Integrate with area processes to ensure learning needs are met
· Help to define processes for instructional needs
· Administer and manage systems for supporting training, development, and education
· Establish and apply standards for workforce development procedures
· Identify and report on critical metrics (readiness and training completion reports)
· Create and maintain Learning Management System (LMS) records
· Troubleshoot training systems and identify solutions
· Provide Workforce Development Consultation and Expertise

· Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts

· Assist with the development and maintenance of Workforce Development programs

Additional Job Description
· Responsible for conducting supervisory, management or non-technical skills training courses for internal staff. Interfaces with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans including the method, media and documentation to be presented. Instructs participants in classroom lectures and/or group sessions. Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material.
