In this role you will be responsible for developing business, lead select client projects and internal initiatives, and provide senior strategic input and expertise on Consulting client engagements, internal requests and in partnership with Fortrea's business development team worldwide. As a Senior Director within our Consulting organization this person proposes, oversees and participates in client work, including projects in real world evidence, health economics, reimbursement and payer insight, value demonstration, business strategy, and other service lines as needed.  The role includes responsibility for: business development; providing direction to proposal development and pitch meetings; presenting to clients as needed; providing leadership support as a member of the MA-HEOR team. This role is considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and is not responsible for managing others.  

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Develop MA-HEOR business via networking, thought leadership, conference participation and existing relationships
  • Develop Fortrea business, participating in company-wide opportunities as needed
  • Work collaboratively with team(s) to grow existing accounts and client relationships
  • Present capabilities, prepare and review proposals, and close opportunities
  • Apply innovative solutions that address client needs and meet Fortrea objectives
  • Oversee project execution; supervise others executing on projects as needed
  • Ensure that findings and recommendations meet client requirements
  • Ensure that projects meet budget, timeline and quality requirements
  • Participate in senior staff meetings, which includes setting group goals/targets, developing and maintaining Admin structure, reviewing opportunities, cross-referring business and other activities

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Graduate level degree in field relevant to MA&HEOR required
  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience in lieu of educational requirements
  • Proven expertise in scientific and technical aspects of discipline and in research studies; experience in consulting environment; strong skills in a market access/HEOR-related discipline
  • Strong organization, and analytical skills; ability to analyze and understand complex client issues and develop and execute on solutions
  • Ability to challenge conventional thinking to solve client issues and develop solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Ability to establish, maintain, and expand client relationships long-term 
  • Team player

Experience (Minimum Required):  

  • A minimum of 12 years of prior work experience in a relevant role, in a similar environment within a consulting practice or a health products manufacturer required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various Microsoft software programs, including Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and EndNote
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, to collaborate and work with peers and lead projects to accomplish tasks assigned
  • Expertise and experience in value communication/health economics/market access/RWE activities, including leading large multidisciplinary projects and people, providing strategic and methodological leadership and with demonstrated success in terms of business development and building client relationships

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • PhD is preferred; scientific or technical knowledge and know-how in line with client expectations
  • Able to innovate and drive development of creative solutions to meet client need
  • Ability and orientation toward working across various disciplines and teams to achieve client objectives
  • Experience of presenting at international meetings such as ISPOR

Pay Range: $150,000 - $235,000 (The range does not include benefits, and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity)
