T. Rowe Price is seeking a skilled Sr. Business Analyst to join our Chief Data Office. This newly created role is within our new Reporting and Analytics pillar, focused on expanding reporting and analytics capabilities across the enterprise. The Sr. Business Analyst will collaborate with key stakeholders to translate their needs into actionable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.

This role will follow our hybrid work model with 3 days/week in the office and flexibility for 2 days/week to work from home.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather requirements, understand business processes and align on project objectives

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify business needs, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Leverage BI experience to provide recommendations on appropriate BI Solutions to business stakeholders with an eye to process improvement and operational efficiency

  • Design and develop standardized intake process for capturing and evaluating project requests

  • Team with data engineers and data architects on the design and implementation of reporting data solutions including the development of data products

  • Utilize business analysis methodologies and tools to support project management processes, such as Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -5+ years of total relevant work experience

  • Experience with BI tools and technologies (e.g. PowerBI, MicroStrategy or Tableau)

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience translating between business and technical audiences.

  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and business process improvements.

  • Experience within the investments industry and/or working with investment data.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.

Base salary ranges:

$114,500.00 - $195,000.00 for the location of: California, New York
$100,500.00 - $171,500.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C
$91,500.00 - $156,500.00 for the location of: Colorado, Maryland, Washington and all other US locations

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the roleBase salary is only one component of our total compensation packageEmployees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
