The Opportunity

Due to an international secondment opportunity, we have an exciting opening for a Corporate HSE Coordinator to join our highly respected QHSSE team in West Perth. This is a 15-month contract role with the possibility to become permanent.

Reporting directly our QHSSE Manager – Pacific, this role is the focal point in our head office, key support function to the manager and looks after the QHSSE administration elements of Fugro’s Business Management System.

Key responsibilities:

• Administration of the company incident and action reporting platform and reviewing corporate procedures and processes
• Providing inputs and QHSSE-related data to the tendering department
• Supporting QHSSE Advisors in project deliverables development and facilitating client and legislative sustainability reporting   
• Liaising with the HR Dept in relation to workers compensation and return to work plans 
• Facilitating corporate training and meetings
• Participating in the Corporate HSE Committee and leading corporate QHSSE initiatives
• Liaising with other Perth-based facility Managers on QHSSE-related matters

About You

Your interest in understanding QHSSE practices, standards, and regulatory requirements, mixed with your strong interpersonal and communication skills will set the foundation to be successful in this role.

You will have:

• A practical, flexible approach to problem solving with high organizational skills
• Proven experience working in a similar office / corporate-based role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health Safety & Training
• Knowledge of ISO (45001, 14001, 9001)
