Hybrid Work Expectations - Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Job Summary

Builds strong relationships throughout Endeavor Health to provide net revenue support for operational teams. Learns and utilizes all key financial systems. This position will increase the flow of net revenue information across the organization by identifying opportunities to build standardized reports and dashboards. Supports and interacts with leaders using key analysis and recommendations, as well as ad hoc reporting.

What you will do:

Analytical & Budget Responsibilities

  • Distributes data and reports across the System.
  • Meets with various departments to educate, explain, and discuss opportunities for improvement, and ensures integrity of the data.
  • Provides financial analysis to support decision making related to complex business issues and presents the results.
  • Assists management in using and interpreting financial information to make decisions.
  • Finds solutions to data needs that will aid in the decision-making process.
  • Partners with department leaders to develop and support initiatives using financial information and key analysis.
  • Supports, trains, and helps build the annual plan.
  • Participates in approval process by providing technical data, analytical and ad hoc analyses as requested.
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the process in order to be able to explain variances and respond to inquiries.
  • Ensures needed updates are tested and implemented correctly.
  • Maintains liaison and subject matter expert with operational managers to advise on projects, cash flows and related financial matters.
  • Assists in the preparation and delivery of various written and/or financial reports/presentations for analysis and projects to management.

​Financial Systems & Reporting Responsibilities

  • Learns, utilizes, and coaches others on key financial systems.
  • Actively involved in the implementation of new systems and ensures all reporting needs and functionality are incorporated.
  • Effectively uses databases to gather, sort and extract data necessary for the proper tracking of key initiatives.
  • Provides reporting to help explain variances.
  • Works diligently with departments to review and understand their variances and help prepare an action plan.
  • Assists in the distribution of standardized reports to aid in the overall understanding and assessment of business performance.
  • Seeks out opportunities to build dashboards for senior management that give daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual views of key operational statistics.
  • Prepares ad hoc reporting using financial, statistical, and/or patient visit data sources.
  • Provides technical and informational assistance, as well as guidance, to others on the use of these sources.

  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in field of expertise by reading appropriate books, journals, and other literature; attends related seminars and conferences.

What You Will Need

Required Education, Experience, and/or Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel to perform complex analyses.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical mindset.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills with an ability to convey information in a clear, focused, and concise manner.

Preferred Experience and/or Skills

  • Accounting for net revenue and accounts receivable.
  • Financial planning and analysis with emphasis on net revenue, especially modeling.
  • Previous work in healthcare, especially in large health systems.
  • Proficiency with Workday, Strata, and/or Revenue Cycle Analyzer (RCA).
  • Implementation of new systems and processes.
