Finance Business Intelligence Specialist - Central Europe Country Finance

Team/Role Overview
We are looking for a talented finance professional to join the local CFO & Controller’s team covering the Central Europe sub-cluster of Citi. The team is responsible for the oversight of finances, and the generation, tracking and submission of financial & regulatory reports, as well as providing business intelligence to our key stakeholders, including the CCOs.
What you’ll do
Assist with financial and management reporting, planning and analysis, finance analytics, monitoring and forecasting.
Contribute to delivering high quality finance business intelligence support to our key business stakeholders and the CCOs.
Drive the key project initiatives of the country finance teams from a technical SME capacity in the CE sub-cluster.
Identify and resolve emerging problems using subject-matter knowledge in finance, and proactively escalate issues as needed.
Assist with the implementation of new process workflows for the team and contribute to process reengineering initiatives.
Execute the finance team’s processes and in-house procedures as per defined parameters in a timely manner.
What we’ll need from you
4+ years of relevant experience.
BA degree in relevant field.
Knowledge of financial markets, banking products, understanding of key concepts in finance, financial reporting, IFRS, and regulatory policy are considered useful assets for this position.
Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with complex spreadsheets is a must.
Experience with financial & regulatory reporting processes is a plus.
Experience with scripting, data transformation tools, and data analytics platforms such as KNIME and/or Tableau is needed.
Clear and concise communication skills in English is required.
