Manager, Digital Wallet Business Risk and Customer Friction – Miami, FL

In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving risk and compliance requirements while reducing customer friction as part of a broader team effort to help build and launch a new digital wallet for our customers. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and launch enhancements necessary to deliver our core product.
Role Responsibilities
Identifying and protecting consumers seamlessly while providing a great user experience with minimum friction in a new innovate digital app
Responsible for capturing and integrating all legal, risk, and compliance requirements across the wallet product to create a fully compliant, customer-centric experience
Responsible for implementing and refining the identity verification policy (KYC) and processes and tools to fight fraud and ensure security
Write user stories and work with design team to translate requirements into product features
Coordinate with engineering team to translate risk, compliance, and legal requirements into technology requirements; scope and size the work
Partner with technical teams across the organization to coordinate product roadmaps and timelines
Coordinate with external partners to provide KYC verification and risk tools
Partner with operations teams on risk and compliance processes
Communicate project status, escalate issues, and manage timelines
Role Requirements
Banking or fintech experience
Experience with client onboarding, KYC, and risk controls
In-depth knowledge of risk and compliance requirements and policies
Analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
Excellent cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to work effectively across teams
Project management experience
Agile experience including story writing
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Lexis Nexis experience a plus
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of work experience

Salary
The on-target earnings range is $123,400- $184,000 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
