Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology. Capable of utilizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. Solid foundation in, and application of, data warehousing and reporting platform concepts with ability to recommend solutions and drive best practices. Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments is preferred. Develop ETL mappings to extract data from a source data system (databases, files, etc.), transform the data based on business requirements and load the data into a target data system (databases, files, etc.). Conduct performance tuning of the mappings developed to ensure that the data is extracted, transformed, and loaded in a reasonable amount of time based on the requirements. Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed. Work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment) of BI Dashboard and reports. Develop required documentation in support of the development life cycle.

Be part of an agile team that is responsible for maintaining a cloud-based (unclassified and classified) geospatial enrichment service comprised of a suite of tools that provide the ability to connect the dots between geographical locations and associated targets. Develop and maintain geospatial applications and services, to include the geocoder, the Reference Data Portal (RDP) and the Global Mapping Application (GMAP) encompassing all layers of development.

Basic Qualifications:
oBachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems
oManagement, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
o8-12 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
oAbility to work well within a small agile team environment
oStrong communication skills
oUS Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:
oExperience with Vue.js, .NET, Postgres, Oracle DB 
oExperience with AWS CloudFormation 
oExperience providing maintenance of geospatial applications such as ESRI ArcGIS and Geoserver 
oAssume responsibility for quarterly OpenStreetMap refresh and deployment, MongoDB DBA, ElasticSearch geospatial repository development, DBA and performance tuning. Re-establish OpenStreetMap, Openaddresses, and Geonames feeds as a source of current geospatial data by importing these datasets into ElasticSearch DB. 
oExperience with AngularJS, BoostrapVue, Chart.js, CoordinateSharp, D3.js, jQuery, jTable, Leaflet.JS, Microsoft .NET 4.6 Framework, Microsoft .NET 8 Framework, Newtonsoft Json.net0, NGA GeoTrans modules, PDFSharp, Telerik, Vue.JS, Oracle Instant Client
oDOD Top Secret Clearance is required.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
