Job purpose:
- Being part of HRS, to Coordinate and/or administer various aspects of the organization’s being accountable for the coordination of mandatory HR areas and additional locally agreed areas – if any – within the country – ensuring quality, efficiency and cost efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- To coordinate country common interactions with Unions and Work councils where applicable especially during organization restructuring, collective agreements, etc.
- Uphold regular union interaction per local legislation and CBA´s
- On the mandate from CCC and/or CHC, drive or coordinate union/Works council negotiations on country level.
- To coordinate agreed country HR policies
- Together with CHC analyze the needs and propose relevant set of HR policies in the country
- Together with CHC maintain/make minor adjustments to existing HR policies
- On CCC/CHC request, develop proposals for the development of HR policies in the country
- To propose phase out/rationalization of HR policies
- To ensure that Local HR Policies are compliant with local laws and regulations
- On behalf of CHC, seek desired decisions in CCC needed to uphold a relevant set of HR policies
- To ensure agreed common Country HR services
- To ensure that relevant SLA´s are defined and applied for commonly agreed HR services, including service catalogue, pricing models (including allocations, pay per use), quality measures, customer relationship/follow up and quality assurance
- To proactively foresee and propose service additions or terminations
- Where appropriate, to ensure that Common HRS staff are hired and trained to become future, possible candidates for Business HR roles
- To be responsible for directing and maintaining Country Pension/Retirement plans
- Secure that employees are assigned to the country pension/retirement plans
- Secure that correct payroll is calculated for employees with company pension plan
- Generate legislative/internally required reporting around the country pension plans
- If applicable, be the chair or participate in local pension fund board
- Liaise with Global Comp & Ben to maintain or develop local pension plans per Sandvik Benefits policy
- If applicable, ensure that employees are assigned to CBA occupational pension plans
- If applicable, propose development and secure the maintenance of other common employee benefits
- To act as a senior and objective point of consultation for complex Employee Relations or Human Resources matters.
- To manage Payroll system and social contributions
- To coordinate necessary country activities connected to M&A projects
- To manage other HR tasks within the country dimension (Compensation, IR, ER)
Experience
Minimum of 10 - 12 years of HR experience working with several different HR processes.
Experience of working in a managerial position and in a complex/matrix organizational environment is preferred.
Education
University Degree in Human Resources or allied area.
