Major Responsibilities/Activities:
Policy Impacting
• Lead the policy advocacy planning and execution on NRDL, NEDL VBP etc. by collaboration with cross function.
• Support executes visits with government officials from NHSA, NHC, ect.. and serve as the primary contract between Abbott and central government. (NHSA, NHC)
• Analysis the central policy impact to abbot with deep insights, to ensure Abbott is in accordance with the eternal policy trends.
• Promote the products access and ensure a favorable external environment for the business development.
• Organize the event with customers to ensure the business is well fit with government development agenda.
Management
• Develop the strategies and plans for the region.
• Develop and maintain the relationship with the main officials of provincial reimbursement bureau, healthcare bureau and pricing bureau etc.
• Attract, develop and retain the talents for organization and team development, manage the team to ensure the strategies and actions well implementation.
• Manage the good quality of Legal compliance and execution, as well as the team budget control.
Non Government Organization and Industry Associates Communication
• Leverage the external stakeholders’ platforms, government -think tanks, academic institutions.
• Communicate and work with Non-Government Organization (NGO) and industry association to positively influence policy.
• Make the good consultant and advisor as RDPAC’s working group leader.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Industry experiences: Minimum 10 years Pharmaceutical industry working experience
• Position experiences:
- Minimum 8 years working experience in government affairs
- 5 years above management experience
• Language Skills: Fluent English both oral and written
• Computer Skills: Working knowledge
• Mobility: Frequent travel required (40% is in travel)
•Location: Beijing, Guangzhou, Nanjing
• Other Special requirement:
• Pharmaceutical related policies and regulations knowledge
• Good understanding of business and product knowledge
• Good presentation and analysis skill
• Should be an effective team leader who can engender credibility and confidence within the team and with customers; a polished professional presence is essential.
• Excellent channel and network management
• A strong understanding and solving of market access issues in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Strong sense of “Compliance Excellence”
