Financial Analyst

Job Summary:

The OccuNet Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for analyzing financial and operational data to provide insights about past performance and advise future strategy to TOC leadership as well as support both current clients and prospects by robustly analyzing our performance and comparing it with our competitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, a curiosity to ask and research “why”, and an interest in financial planning and analysis.

A Day in the Life:

As our Financial Analyst, you will analyze data to identify cost-saving trends and assist with forecasting financial performance. You will prepare financial reports and dashboards for review and will participate in staying up to date on healthcare regulations and industry trends. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing financial and operational data. 
  • Supporting the sales team by evaluating new opportunities, providing analytical insight, and pricing recommendations. 
  • Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes. 
  • Creating financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making. 
  • Preparing financial reports for internal use at the company by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information. 
  • Assisting in the development of financial plans and reports for organizational leaders. 
  • Analyzing industry trends to appropriately provide recommendations.  
  • Evaluating capital expenditures and depreciation.  
  • Developing automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.  
  • Always maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. 
  • Performing other duties as assigned.  

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.  
  • The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.  
  • The ability to work with complex data to extract meaningful and actionable insights. 
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, and the analysis of financial reporting.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.  

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, such as Economics or Mathematics.  

Hours, Schedule, and Location:

  • Full time
  • Monday to Friday
  • On-site, in-person working location in Amarillo, TX
