Job Summary
This role is responsible for implementing pricing component of CPQ software solution to drive adaptability and alignment with end users. The role is also responsible for providing Subject Matter Expertise & technical leadership in the planning, design, and architect phases of IT solutions development. The role coordinates and supervises the execution of technology projects, as well as analyzes and detects needs and opportunities for innovation in IT Solutions offerings. The role aims at ensuring optimal solutions and adequacy of IT offerings and facilitates the decision making at enterprise level IT Strategy. The role also leads the technology transformation projects in collaboration with other IT departments.
Responsibilities
Quickly analyze requirements and translate into business object models and business rules that can be implemented by technical developers.
Work independently and manage end-to-end tasks.
Carefully assess and diagnose impact of new business objects and new business rules on system usability and system performance.
Work closely with cross IT teams to define and integrate with internal & external applications.
Explore and implement data quality improvement methodologies.
Document procedures and best practices associated with Pricing process especially related to SAP CPQ
Troubleshoot complex production issues.
Stays current with CPQ processes and take proactive action to provide immediate solution to emerging businesses
Education & Experience Recommended
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar required and 12+ years of applicable experience OR demonstrable equivalent experience
Strong CPQ background, minimum of 5 years working exclusively in Pricing area.
Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of SAP CPQ
Must demonstrate knowledge of Tiered Pricing and Margin Analysis
Must demonstrate ability to perform code reviews & oversight of developers.
Demonstrate ability to discuss multiple topics with IT counterparts i.e. Architects, Project Managers, Business Analysts etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
