We are looking for an exceptional and proven Client and Audit Assurance Lead, reporting to the Group Head of Information Security, responsible for leading a centralised Client and Audit Assurance function, standardising existing in-take processes and mechanisms, interpreting, prioritising, and effectively managing all security relevant Client and Audit demand globally.

Profile:

  • You will have proven experience managing teams, documenting, and implementing standard operating procedures, improving processes, quality assurance, and delivering highly effective services to stakeholders. 
  • You will have knowledge of industry recognised information security frameworks, and applicable laws and regulations, coupled with an ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders of all levels.
  • You will have prior experience in a complex and evolving environment in regulated financial services across different regions and jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Group Head of Information Security in delivering a streamlined and effective client and audit engagement service.
  • Lead the prioritisation, completion, and delivery of all client requirements such as client meeting schedules, logging and tracking of client actions, RFPs, DDQs, presentation materials, and client contract reviews.
  • Lead the prioritisation, completion, and delivery of all internal and external audit requests, engaging relevant SMEs, providing quality assurance, and timely updates to management.
  • Lead the way in standardising and implementing robust and repeatable processes to deliver accurate and professional responses to clients and audit bodies.
  • Support the Group Head of Information Security in the creation of presentation materials to be utilised in existing and prospective business engagements.
  • Be part of a wider security team to deliver a consistent global service, supporting the delivery of business goals with expert guidance.

Requirements:

  • Experience of Client Engagement and Audit Functions with an IT and Security focus.
  • Experience building and managing teams and central functions.
  • Knowledge of information security and risk frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST 800-53 and COBIT.
  • Knowledge of auditing frameworks such as ISAE3402 and SOC2.
  • Experience interacting with clients and audit bodies.
  • Experience managing competing priorities.
  • Experienced in developing standard and repeatable processes.
  • Proven ability to manage internal stakeholders through audits and providing management with consumable and actionable information.
  • Good ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholder.
