The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, websites, and digital advertising platforms. This role will involve working closely with the marketing team to enhance brand presence, engage with consumers, and drive online traffic and sales. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in implementing strategies that align with the company’s business goals in the consumer goods sector.

This position will be based in Needham, MA. 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Campaign Development and Execution:
    • Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, such as social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), email marketing, Google Ads, and display advertising.
    • Coordinate content creation, including images, videos, and written materials, to support digital campaigns.
    • Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and external agencies to ensure high-quality and consistent content.
  2. Social Media Management:
    • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers.
    • Monitor social media trends and consumer behavior to inform content strategies and enhance brand engagement.
    • Work on building and managing the company's social media calendar to ensure consistent messaging and branding across platforms.
  3. Content Management and Website Updates:
    • Assist in maintaining and updating the company’s website, ensuring content is fresh, relevant, and optimized for SEO.
    • Coordinate the development and distribution of digital content, such as blog posts, product pages, and promotional materials.
    • Work closely with the web development team to ensure smooth website functionality and a positive user experience.
  4. Email Marketing:
    • Support the creation and execution of email marketing campaigns, including the development of email templates, content, and segmentation strategies.
    • Analyze email marketing performance and optimize campaigns based on metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  5. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and other digital analytics platforms.
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and drive growth.
  6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with product development, sales, and other departments to align digital marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Coordinate with the eCommerce team to support online product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
    • Assist in ensuring all digital marketing efforts align with the broader brand strategy and business goals.
  7. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Advertising:
    • Assist in implementing SEO strategies to improve website rankings and visibility in search engines.
    • Support the management of paid digital advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to drive online traffic and conversions.
  8. Influencer and Partnership Coordination:
    • Identify and collaborate with influencers, bloggers, and digital partners to expand brand reach and engage with target consumers.
    • Coordinate partnership campaigns and ensure that deliverables align with brand messaging and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing or social media marketing, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
  • Experience with social media management and content creation across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and trends within the consumer goods industry.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for website updates and email marketing customization.
  • Experience working with influencer marketing and online partnerships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
