As our business continues to innovate and grow, we are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join our talented team and support our operations across the APAC region.

This role a 12-month Fixed Term contract offering hybrid working conditions where our modern office is based South Melbourne.

The role:

As an experienced Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support business decisions, monitor financial performance, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting standards. As a Management Accountant, you will:

  • Prepare and manage monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and control budgets, providing variance analysis and forecasting support.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and relevant regulations.
  • Support SOX Compliance
  • Oversee financial audits and work closely with external auditors.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CA/CPA/CIMA qualification preferred. You bring strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and within the Australian context as well as working to SOX compliance, along with proficiency in SAP by Design, Fusion and financial analysis tools. With excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, they are detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement. Your excellent communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively with different teams, and you have a passion for using financial insights to support business growth.
