ABOUT THE POSITION
We’re looking for a Security Supervisor to lead the security team at the Columbia HQ property’s and to protect the life and wellbeing of employee, staff, and visitors, properties, and physical assets at Columbia HQ locations.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Supervise assigned campus security officers.
Assist with the implementation of security protocols.
Work collaboratively with the corporate facilities and appropriate staff to resolve issues related to security and safety.
Monitor parking as needed for illegal parkers as well as threats that include theft and vandalism.
Conduct investigations and interviews for incidents that arise at HQ location.
YOU ARE
Able to clearly and logically, use good judgment, and make rapid and logical decisions in emergencies.
A strong self-starter with the ability to focus on key deliverables.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
Able to manage and guide internal and external employees.
YOU HAVE
An associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
A minimum 5 years of security experience with proven results
A current DPSST Unarmed security certificate.
A Minimum 3 years' experience using security software for Access Control and Surveillance
