For our dynamic Global Information Security team, we are looking for a Senior Information Security Officer to join us. This position focuses on designing, challenging and advising on the security architecture of Fugro’s IT Infrastructure. Your role

• You are part of a multi disciplined central information security team reporting to the global manager of information security.

• You participate in the architecture meetings to ensure compliance to the Fugro information security policies and principles.

• You challenge proposed IT solutions and designs and will determine improvement possibilities on the security controls.

• You maintain a holistic overview of security platforms and tools used within the company.

• You advise on the design and implementation of security measures and controls to security the organization.

• You determine smart solutions in which security systems and solutions are integrated effectively within the IT infrastructure;

• You provide technical guidance and support to IT and security teams and stay current with the latest security technologies, trends and threats;

• You evaluate and recommend new innovative security technologies, solutions and services to enhance the organization’s security posture.

Your track record

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in Information Security in a architectural role and you have proven knowledge of Information Security platforms, industry standards and tools;

• You are in the possession of a CISM certificate or capable and willing to successfully acquire one within 12 months. An ISO 27001 Lead Auditor certificate is considered a plus;

• You can demonstrate full knowledge and understanding of security architectural principles such as ZTA, SABSA and Jericho;

• You have excellent organizational, coordinator, communication problem-solving and analytical skills;

• You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
