As the Head of Regional Finance, you will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the financial strategy, business analysis, and reporting for the Africa region. You will partner closely with business teams to align financial strategies with key initiatives, while overseeing a talented finance and credit team to deliver results. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a rapidly evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Conduct variance analysis to ensure that both company-wide and regional financial targets are met.
Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with business units and other departments to align financial strategies with business goals, providing financial oversight and insights to drive decision-making.
Financial and Stakeholder Reporting: Communicate financial results, key metrics, and business insights to executives and relevant stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the finance and credit teams across the region, fostering their professional growth and creating a high-performing, results-driven team.
Risk Management and Profitability Analysis: Analyze business risks and opportunities, develop financial models, and recommend action plans to support ongoing business transformation.
Requirements:
7-10 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated leadership in finance roles.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
Expertise in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
Strong data analysis and financial modeling skills, with experience in risk management and FP&A.
Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and foster a culture of teamwork.
Detail-oriented with strong time management and decision-making capabilities.
Ethical integrity and sound judgment in all business dealings.
Proficiency in English, French, and Arabic, both written and verbal.
