From first-in-human to exploratory biomarker or complex ph.1b trials, our pharmacists, scientists and clinicians ensure precise drug safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data.

We are looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager to drive this mission forward.

This is a full time, permanent and remote job based in Poland.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

As our Sr. PM, your impact will be clear from day 1:

  • Deliver excellence: Lead global project teams to manage client and internal communications, timeliness, scope, risk, cost and quality to ensure project deliverables and core metrics are achieved. Proactively mitigate variance, ensuring client expectations are met.

  • Drive Cross-Functional teamwork success: foster collaboration across a diversity of teams (SSU, regulatory, eTMF, Site Feasibility, Monitoring, DM, Biostatistics, Safety, Contracts, and others) and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.

  • Risk management: Apply your expertise to predict, identify and mitigate risks, ensuring key milestones and metrics align with both Fortrea and client´s goals.

  • Client Satisfaction and growth: Build strong sponsor relationships to ensure satisfaction and create opportunity for repeat business.

  • Serve as escalation point for project issues to client, internal teams and vendors. 

  • Financial performance: Achieve financial targets by managing budgets, forecasting, revenue recognition, profit margins and negotiation of change orders.

Beyond Project Manager, you´ll play a critical role in expanding our Phase 1b studies work. From process innovation to operational delivery, your ideas will directly influence the future of Fortrea´s CPS, elevating the entire organization.

WHO YOU ARE

This is a highly specialized job. For this reason, we need you to bring:

  • Extensive clinical research expertise in a CRO or biopharmaceutical company including at least 2 years of full regional/global oversight as a clinical Project Manager.

  • Phase 1 and Phase Ib experience: Familiarity with early-phase trials in healthy volunteers and patients and their fast-paced environment is ideal, but international PM experience in Ph II-III will also be welcomed.

  • Financial Acumen & Change Orders: strong international Phase I-III study budget management skills, with experience in forecasting, revenue recognition and change order development and negotiation.

  • Leadership: proven ability to inspire and manage globally dispersed teams and vendors, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and achieving core project milestones. Ability to work on multiple studies at any one time.

  • Risk Management : expertise in critical path analysis and risk mitigation plans.

  • Client Relations: A knack for building client trust, resolving conflicts and influencing decisions.

  • BID presentation expertise.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Master´s or other advanced degree

Preferred:

  • PMP certification
