Job Description:

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Environmental Programs Manager to join our team. This individual will support the development and execution of Arrow’s environmental sustainability strategy. This role will engage across multiple components of our environmental work; including but not limited to waste, electronic waste, circular economy, pollution, and biodiversity.

As an Environmental Programs Manager, you will support with strategy, implementation and management of corporate level environmental sustainability initiatives, engagement with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance against regulations such as the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.

Your areas of experience shall also include circular solution development, supply chain engagement, project management, program management, vendor management, and ESG reporting.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage Arrow’s global programs for waste (including e-waste), circular economy, pollution, biodiversity, and water
  • Evaluate Arrow’s current capabilities for global data collection and reporting as it relates to regulatory reporting requirements for the areas of waste, circularity, pollution, biodiversity, and water
  • Develop strategies, processes, and systems to improve Arrow’s global data collection and reporting processes to better drive operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Develop reduction targets, lead reduction efforts, and report on progress in Arrow's public disclosures
  • Evaluate Arrow's sustainability opportunities for circular solutions through technology, industry partnerships, and supply chain engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as real estate, procurement, supply chain, finance, etc. to drive sustainability strategies
  • Manage relationships with vendors as it relates to waste, water, and biodiversity
  • Assist Director of Sustainability with strategy, project, process, and vendor management
  • Manage Environmental Programs Analyst and support with ESG data collection, validation, and aggregation

What You’ll Need

  • 5 years of experience in Sustainability management, environmental reporting, or related areas

  • Bachelor’s degree with an educational focus in Sustainability preferred. Master’s degree a plus

  • Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively balance competing priorities while adhering to specific deadlines

  • Advanced verbal and written communications skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work, collaborate, and influence change across functions, levels, and globally diverse employee populations

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, produce manuals, and prepare presentations and proposals. Must possess ability to effectively present information and respond to question from groups of managers, employees, and customers

  • Proven self-starter with ability to think and act in a proactive way

  • Proficiency in the MS suite with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid: 3 days in office/2 days from home

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$99,100.00 - $156,200.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
