Overview:

Samsung Electronics America and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire experienced part-time Back of House Specialist within the retail space.

Samsung Stores are an interactive and fun product theater designed to treat shoppers to an immersive experience with Samsung’s products and services. At a Samsung Experience Store, we want customers to learn by experiencing Samsung products first-hand while receiving world-class service and sales experience.

As a BOH Specialist, or Inventory Control Coordinator, you will combine your passion for excellence and expertise in inventory control with great customer service to create a world class customer experience.

Some of your day-to-day tasks:

  • Knowledgeable about wireless, mobile and consumer electronics, and motivated by the success of the entire team
  • Believes in our vision and culture - seizes each day as an opportunity to make a positive impact
  • Has a proven track record in inventory control and experiences success through collaboration, as a team, not solely as an individual contributor
  • Experience in Buy-online Pick-up In store transactions
  • Participates in open communication with all store team members
  • Looks to and embraces training others as a vehicle to always remain up to date on Samsung technology
  • Drives key performance measurements for sales, service, and operational excellence
  • Enhances the customer experience by assisting with their journey throughout the store
  • Maintains and applies knowledge of all company policy and procedures
  • Maintains knowledge of current promotions, trends, merchandise features, and store inventory
  • Maintains our presentation standards, ensuring clean audits
  • Maintains inventory accuracy by identifying and correcting stock variances
  • Strong stockroom expertise to ensure inventory loss is prevented
  • Provides store leadership team with regular inventory performance updates and collaborates on solutions to improve results
  • Complies with all corporate retail inventory processes
  • Ensures all stockroom organizational and safety standards are maintained
  • Is looked at as the guru of inventory control

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years in inventory control at a leader or specialist level with a proven track record
  • Use personal wireless device (cell phone) to clock in/out per shift using store Wi-Fi
  • Can speak to senior leadership
  • Preferred experience in this field in a Retail Mall setting
  • Must be able to work retail Mall hours (nights/weekends/holidays)
  • Outgoing personality; able to relate at all levels
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Not Required, but Preferable:

  • Background in mobile phones or similar technology a plus
  • Bilingual (Chinese/Korean/Spanish) speaking a plus

Job Description:

  • Oversee back of house operations, including inventory management, merchandising and floor resets, testing and basic troubleshooting of devices, as well as weekly reporting for compliance
  • Drive operational KPI's
  • Maintain a high energy, professional attitude at all times

Qualifications:

  • Experience in inventory management
  • Extremely organized with a proficiency in excel
  • Ability to analyze data, and create action plans for operational efficiency
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to articulate results
  • Strong commitment to integrity, due to management of high value inventory
  • Flexible and adaptable with an eye for detail, and a passion for teamwork and innovation
  • Passion for goal-setting and problem solving
  • Experience in retail merchandising and space planning
  • Ability to quickly adapt and pivot due to rapidly changing needs of back of house
  • Korean Speaking a plus, not required
