The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Industry Sales Specialist to join a team of healthcare sales specialists. In this role, you will focus on the North American East Coast market and be responsible for selling to line of business with a focus on business outcomes and increasing the overall growth for the Red Hat Healthcare business. You will shape our go-to-market strategy specific to your territory, working with a direct sales team covering the accounts and positioning Red Hat as the vendor of choice to drive industry outcomes. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable working in a matrix environment, be adaptable to change, consultative seller, and take ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with account teams to help them position existing Red Hat platforms for healthcare and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Initiate proof of concept work for specific projects or generic repeatable solutions for the healthcare sector
  • Become the trusted advisor to the client, while establishing and maintaining relationships with key Strategic Alliances (CCSP, SI's, and ISV) in your territory.
  • Create and drive solutions point of view resulting in quantifiable new opportunities and potential revenue generating around Healthcare solutions. Assist in developing client strategies, architectures, blueprints, roadmaps, and transformation plans to achieve future success
  • Able to successfully operate within a highly matrixed and complex technical and business environment with the capability to identify, qualify, and direct/orchestrate cross opportunities.
  • Capable of managing a complex portfolio that contains multiple engagements and innovative initiatives (MVP).
  • As a voice of the customer and industry, translate requirements to develop complex solutions that meet, if not exceed client expectations.
  • Qualifications
  • College/University graduate degree required and post-graduate degree desired.
  • 10+ years of related industry experience
  • Experience leading Digital Transformations is highly desirable (technology, operations, organization)
  • Demonstrated and sustained results achievement

Knowledge And Skills 

  • Deep client relationships and industry experience as a senior business leader, IT leader, Consultant, or Strategic Advisor, focused on Healthcare
  • In-depth understanding of the Healthcare industry. Understand how emerging technologies are applied, and can accelerate Red Hat Healthcare's point of view in the industry.
  • Background in consultative customer engagement with a consulting or technology company or organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executives at large companies
  • Ability to sell solutions in a multiproduct environment
  • Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers
  • Ability to maintain a balance of strategic and tactical skills
     

The salary range for this position is $309,760.00 - $526,360.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
