Data Product Manager and Business Analyst

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for ensuring hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases of a software feature, solution, or product. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise to navigate challenges, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive innovation. The role is responsible for defining the overall approach and architecture, driving overall quality plan and ensuring the on-time delivery and escalation, as necessary.

Responsibilities
• Leads portions of the planning and execution of multiple complex technical projects or programs in support of the continuing evolution of the organization's software products.
• Develops software roadmaps based on product and technical requirements and business needs.
• Partners with cross-functional software development teams to help them prioritize, plan, track and execute complex, cross organizational programs.
• Performs program analysis, manages risk, identifies and influences necessary course corrections.
• Continuously assesses and improves the processes that comprise the software development lifecycle.
• Manages risks and resolves issues that affect release, scope, schedule, and quality of highly visible, complex programs.
• Provides technical leadership and guidance to ensure that solutions meet quality and performance standards.
• Communicates project status, progress, and challenges through regular reporting and presentations to leadership.
• Encourages innovation within project teams and facilitate the exploration of new technologies and solutions.
• Ensures that all stakeholders are aligned towards a common goal by meeting and receiving feedback on an ongoing basis.

  • Excellent written/verbal communications skills. Comfortable presenting to all levels of management and customers
  • Self-starter requiring minimum training or on-boarding effort
  • Able to manage multiple work streams effectively with minimum guidance, pro-actively set up communication processes with stakeholders.and provide timely updates to leadership
  • Excellent communication skills in English - written, verbal
  • Strong analytical skills and work easily with numbers and multi-dimensional data
  • Experience with data visualization and presenting data in a clear and simple manner
  • Hands-on technical skills, ready to learn more and provide recommendations to drive continuous improvement
  • Advanced experience and knowledge in Project Management and Program management.
  • Plus:
    • Database skills with preferable Big Data exposure
    • Advanced knowledge in BI Tools (Design, Development and Implementation). Power Platforms experience is a plus
    • Advanced knowledge in Modeling / Predictive Analytics, Python SQL experience is a plus

Education and Experience:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in program/project management, scrum master, professional technology organization, or a related field.
  • Typically , 4+years of relevant experience handling delivery of Business Intelligence in an IT, Business or technology services organization
  • Capable of working in a multi-cultural global client facing environment,
  • Ability to work with both business and technical communities
  • Financial analysis/excel modeling to support specific analysis projects.
  • Strong interest and inclination to technology

The base pay range for this role is $149,900 to $173,00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
