As the Head of Broker, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our Commercial function by overseeing and optimizing our broker network. You will be responsible for developing the channels roadmap, own the business case, implementing strategies to enhance broker relationships, improve operational efficiency, and drive business results.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities;

The Head of Broker, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, is responsible for;

Broker Network Management:

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing brokers while expanding the network.

  • Implementing strategies to attract and onboard new brokers, ensuring a diverse and high-performing network.

Performance Optimization:

  • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for brokers and working collaboratively to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Conducting regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and offering support to enhance broker productivity.

Training and Development:

  • Designing and implementing training programs for brokers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.

  • Staying updated on industry trends and regulations, providing ongoing education to brokers.

Channel Ownership:

  • Build the broker channels business case, tech roadmap, lead the squad to deliver requirements and backlog management

  • Provide enterprise leadership to ensure growth through collaboration and teamwork

Operational Efficiency:

  • Streamlining and optimizing broker processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational turnaround times.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Risk Management:

  • Implementing risk assessment and mitigation strategies within the broker network.

  • Monitoring and addressing compliance issues, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contributing to the development and execution of the Angle Auto Finance and Commercial function’s business strategy.

  • Providing insights and recommendations based on market trends and competitor analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the auto financing or financial services industry.

  • Strong understanding of financing products and services and the broker market.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Knowledge of Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
