Principal, Go-To-Market and Business Operations Program Manager

Job Description
 

In this role, as an individual contributor, you will be responsible for overseeing complex, go-to-market programs and other key business initiatives in collaboration with sales, product, development and delivery teams across the globe and/or providing program management oversight for key initiatives to drive business growth. You will be responsible for driving execution of important programs towards near-term revenue impact.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Execute go-to-market program(s) and other key initiative programs across multiple cross-functional teams

  • Manage timely and quality delivery of key programs

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as product management, development, release management and sales

  • Facilitate program level issues and change management resolution. Manage ongoing work through governance structures, creating high-level plans that provide guidance to projects where detailed plans are established

  • Conduct regular working team and senior executive meetings to discuss project status and issues and ensure all components for successful delivery are in place

  • Develop project plan, resolve issues with regards to delays in project delivery and resource constraints

  • Identify barriers that prevent efficient execution of projects    

  • Drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the organization

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Experience 8-10 Years

  • Experience in business operations planning, working with sales and marketing teams and driving initiatives alongside sales, product, development and delivery team

  • Experience working on or with a sales team and conceptualizing a sales strategy to drive immediate revenue impact

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills in English

  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and lead by influence to achieve broader organizational goals

  • 5-10 years’ experience as a program manager who has managed large go-to-market programs with multiple teams and deliverables, preferably led large go-to-market technology programs

  • Passionate, highly motivated, and results-driven program management professional

  • Experience communicating and presenting at various levels within an organization and proven ability to distill details into meaningful executive summary level status

  • Working knowledge project management

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Proven ability to proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, problems, and process gaps

  • Track cross-program or cross-team dependencies and program-level issues while driving escalations when necessary

  • Track record for negotiating, persuading, and driving priorities while leaning on your org-savviness to work closely with global teams

Nice-to-have skills:

  • PMP Certification a plus but not required

 

Education:

  • B.S. degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Communications or equivalent

  • MBA preferred

Location:

  • An office environment that allows for a Southlake-based hybrid working arrangement (three days a week)
