Purpose and Scope:

This position will assist with the development and implementation of programs and initiatives in the areas of talent review, succession planning, assessment and coaching instruments, and performance management.  S/he will act as point of contact for several key business units/functions. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to directly influence the success of our company through myriad development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with HRBPs & up to VP-level business clients to deliver end-to-end talent management solutions.
  • Use expert knowledge in the field of talent management
  • Manage talent management and OD vendors.
  • Independently lead small to medium size projects in the TM and OD space.

Talent & Succession Management

  • Facilitate talent reviews resulting in succession plans, bench charts, HIPO identification, and development planning.
  • Track and monitor development progression of high potentials.
  • Consult with leadership on organizational performance and leadership development needs. 
  • Help prepare, maintain, and update internal documents for talent management team

Executive and Talent Development

  • Collaborate closely with Learning colleagues to deliver “full-suite” talent solutions to HR and business clients.
  • Provide support for executive and HiPo development programs 
  • Consult with and advise business leaders on leadership development solutions using 70/20/10 methodology 
  • Conduct 360-degree feedback and other appropriate assessments

Career Planning

  • Support career pathing framework for corresponding businesses and functions
  • Individual consulting up to VP level for career planning.

Organizational Development and Competency Management

  • Plan, design, implement, & evaluate team development activities
  • Consult with HRBPs and business leaders to create competency-based job profiles.
  • Support implementation of the competency model & framework

Performance Management

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the HR Community and business clients in the area of performance management.  
  • Act as trusted advisor to HRBP to provide solutions to address performance issues
     

Experience/Skills

Two to five years of talent management experience with a focus on organizational development, training, performance management and/or other talent management responsibilities.
SHRM-CP/SCP and/or S/PHR certification a plus.
Ability to cultivate credible relationships with all levels in the organization.
Experience working with competency models preferred.
Collaborative and team-oriented attitude
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through with ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction from manager.
Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills with ability to effectively communicate with senior level leadership and business leaders across the organizations; strong business presence.
Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential material a must.
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
