Provides a crucial role in supporting specialized roles within HR such as Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, and Employee Professional Development. Instrumental in facilitating onboarding of new ERCOT employees.  Ensures company programs and practices are in compliance with Federal and State laws. Works with cross-functional teams to provide analytical and innovative thinking for programs to retain and attract top talent.

JOB DUTIES

  • Conducts ERCOT’s New Hire Orientation to provide new employees a welcoming and exceptional experience
  • Champions the company’s mission, vision, core values, and culture to promote a positive and productive work environment
  • Primary point of contact for new hires and HR email inquiries
  • Responsible for reviewing new employees’ background check reports for completeness
  • Assists Compensation with annual benchmark survey submissions and analysis of results
  • Responsible for maintaining job descriptions within the company’s job description repository
  • Provides support to HR Compliance Analyst on departmental audits
  • Maintains ERCOT’s enterprise-wide organization charts
  • Provides support to Benefits Lead with benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance HR efficiency while remaining current with best practices and emerging trends
  • Obtains experience in all HR department areas by assisting as needed
  • Assists with HR Projects

EXPERIENCE

  • No minimum work experience required

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree : Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Required)
  • or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required

CERTIFICATION

  • PHR Professional in Human Resources (Preferred)
  • SHRM-CP (Preferred)
  • CEBS Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (Preferred)

Expected Salary Range:

$61,131 - $100,871
