A Workday Product Expert focusing on cross functional and security related topics within the Global HR Tech Workday team.

The successful candidate will have over two years of Workday configuration experience in supporting and developing Workday solutions, ideally with in-depth knowledge of HCM area and business process design, cross functional impact analysis in Workday. They will be familiar with Agile ways of working and managing a backlog of items in their specialist area. Knowledge of security configuration and experience working with EIBs will be an asset.

The person will report to the Workday HCM and Cross Functional Product Owner and will provide a variety of Workday support including troubleshooting and resolving BAU issues, as well as building and testing enhancements.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support projects requiring development, testing and cutover of new Workday solutions
  • Consult with customers to confirm requirements and manage implementation timelines
  • Suggest improvements to existing processes and tools
  • Work on other changes as assigned within the HCM functional area
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of all HR processes to be able to understand cross functional impacts of changes
  • Communicate with stakeholders and internal team members, create supporting documentation (knowledge articles, instructions) and provide training as needed
     

Qualifications & Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Workday advanced business process design
  • Prior experience creating or contributing to the design of Workday reports and dashboards is desirable
  • Understanding key concepts and topics related to data privacy (risk mitigation, SOD definitions, privileged access management)
  • Strong communication and change management skills
  • Collaborative and proactive attitude to solutioning
